On Monday, February 10, 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order to pause all investigations and enforcement actions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) of Americans suspected or accused of bribing foreign government officials for 180 days. This Executive Order directs the Attorney General to review current FCPA enforcement guidelines and issue updated guidelines or policies to "...prioritize American interests, American economic competitiveness with respect to other nations, and the efficient use of Federal law enforcement resources".
